Run randomized winner drawings from Gravity Forms entries directly in the WordPress admin.

== Description ==

This add-on lets site admins designate any Gravity Forms form as **giveaway-enabled** and conduct randomized winner drawings from submitted entries — entirely inside WP Admin, with no export required.

= What it does =

* Enable giveaway mode per form with qualifying fields, display name fields, and winner count
* Optional date range filter to limit entries in the drawing pool
* Random winner selection from eligible, not-yet-drawn entries
* Confirm winners after an in-person or live event (present vs. no-show)
* Full draw history per form with timestamps and confirmation status
* Permanently excludes drawn entries from future draws on the same form

= What it does not do =

* Public-facing contest or sweepstakes UI (admin-only tooling)
* Email notifications to winners
* CSV/PDF export of draw history (view-only in admin for v1)
* Multi-site / network admin support

= Requirements =

1. **Gravity Forms** 2.7 or newer
2. A WordPress user with **View Entries** capability (for drawings) and **Edit Forms** (for per-form settings)

== Installation ==

1. Upload the `gravityformsgiveaway` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`
2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress Admin
3. Edit a form → **Settings → Giveaway** → enable giveaway and configure fields
4. Go to **Forms → Giveaway Drawing** to run a draw

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do I configure a giveaway? =

Open any form in the form editor, then go to **Settings → Giveaway**. Enable giveaway mode, choose qualifying fields (entries must have values in all selected fields), display name fields (shown in the drawing UI), and the number of winners per draw.

= What are qualifying fields? =

Any entry missing a value in a qualifying field is excluded from the pool. Use this to require specific answers (e.g. "I agree to terms") before an entry can win.

= Can the same person win twice? =

Once an entry is drawn, it is permanently excluded from future draws on that form — whether or not you mark them as confirmed.

= What happens if I draw more winners than eligible entries? =

The add-on draws every remaining eligible entry and shows how many were available.

= Does deactivating the plugin delete draw history? =

No. Draw records are stored in a dedicated database table and survive deactivation.
