Free Download TranslatePress Business 1.8.8 — Fallback Tests & Nulled FAQ

One saved French string, one untranslated string and an empty German translation expose the difference between partial translation and a completed language version.

A partially translated page can contain two languages

We saved a French translation for “Workshop starts at 10:00.” and deliberately left “Bring a notebook.” untranslated. In the French browser view, the first sentence changed to “L’atelier commence à 10 h.” while the second remained English. A German language route with no saved translation showed the English source text. A reachable language URL therefore does not mean its translation is complete.

TranslatePress can suit a workflow where an editor translates strings in the context of the same page. Our test is intentionally small: it checks saved strings and fallback behavior, not automatic translation quality or a complete multilingual SEO configuration. No external translation engine was contacted.

Business edition and the exact core dependency

The selected main package has a Business 1.8.8 header. The GPLHub listing also contained an older nested collection and another edition; we selected the current Business ZIP rather than treating the first archive name as authoritative. The companion inventory keeps the provided multilingual core 3.3.8, removes older duplicate component roots and excludes the alternative Developer edition.

Some optional add-ons in that dated collection are older standalone packages. They are inventoried for clarity, not certified compatible with the tested pair, and were not all installed. Start with the tested core and Business packages; add optional components only after checking their documented need and compatibility. Installing multiple alternative editions is not a substitute for choosing one.

Saved French translation and the untouched sentence

The fixture used TranslatePress’s native settings validation and translation query/storage APIs. It inserted the source strings, retrieved their native IDs and saved the chosen French text as a human-reviewed translation record. “Human-reviewed” is the plugin’s record status here; the text was explicitly supplied for the fixture, not produced by a translation provider.

A sensible publication check is to search the visible page for remaining source-language strings after an editor marks a translation complete. Include navigation, buttons and validation messages in a real project. This fixture does not establish coverage for every dynamic string or form state.

An untranslated German route

German route displaying the original English strings because no German translation was saved
The route exists, but it is not evidence of completed German content.

We opened the actual plugin-generated language URLs in a visitor browser, rather than inferring output from database rows alone. The saved French string appeared where expected and the unfilled German route retained the source. These views make the limitation visible to an editor before incomplete translations are promoted to users.

The test did not exercise translated slugs, SEO Pack output, language detection, translator accounts or automatic translation credits. Those capabilities and any account-dependent services need their own checks. If each language must have independently scheduled WordPress posts, compare that editorial model with this string-translation workflow; we did not benchmark alternatives.

Use the fixture to inspect fallback in staging

The reproduction resources contain the synthetic page and native string-storage setup. Run setup and the checks in fresh WP-CLI processes with the recorded versions, after adapting the explicit staging guards. Confirm the source, French and German views in a real browser. Changing only a language setting will not create the missing translated sentences.

The main and companion hashes identify the exact archived bytes offered below. They establish download identity, not that the archive is byte-for-byte a trusted manufacturer release or free of all unwanted changes.

TranslatePress package and Nulled questions

“Nulled” usually describes software whose activation or licence checks have been removed or altered; the word alone does not determine whether a particular use is lawful. GPL-covered code can be studied, modified and redistributed subject to its licence conditions, but this does not grant access to a developer’s account, hosted services, updates or support. We discuss the term here to answer a common search question; the download details separately identify the package source and tested version. Any plugin or theme obtained through an unverified third party can contain unwanted changes or malicious code, whether or not it is labelled “nulled”. Before installing it, you can ask ChatGPT or Claude Code to inspect the extracted source for suspicious behaviour without executing it or sharing credentials. Treat that review as an additional check: AI can miss harmful code or flag harmless code, and a clean result is not a security guarantee.

Why is French mixed with English? In our test only one sentence had a saved French translation; the other fell back to its source. Check missing string coverage before assuming routing is broken.

Does the German route mean German content is finished? No. Our route was reachable while both test strings remained in English.

Were all optional add-ons tested? No. The verified pair was Business 1.8.8 and core 3.3.8. The inventory identifies the other archived components without certifying them.
